Robotics Grant Announced
The Superintendent of Schools is proud to announce that the Hillside High School Robotics Team has been awarded a scholarship in the amount of $2000.00 which covers a portion of the team's registration fee for the Botball Educational Robotics Program and tournament.   The scholarship would not be possible if it were not for the generosity of KISS Institute for Practical Robotics  and their support of the Botball Educational Robotics Program.

As listed at www.botball.com,, The Botball Educational Robotics Program engages middle and high school aged students in a team-oriented robotics competition based on national science education standards. By designing, building, programming, and documenting robots, students use science, engineering, technology, math, and writing skills in a hands-on project that reinforces their learning.”

Congratulations to Mr. George Olsen and the team.
